#SST-403 -  Antique Jeweled Egyptian Purse Frame

Brass purse frame with raised King Tut funerary mask design, floral designs and green patterned stones on front of frame. Due to the discovery of King Tut's tomb in 1922, Egyptian motifs were very popular in the 1920s. Yet I only rarely find an Egyptian themed purse frame that survived.  Sew holes.  Width at bottom  = 5 1/2".  Height from hinge to armpits  = 1 3/4".  Total height = 3". Chain adds an additional 6 1/2"".
