A001/September Wedding

This is an Arhyonel Designs pattern designed by Jacqueline Smith. I designed this beaded knitted bag for my sister's wedding using 11/0 white Charlotte (1 cut) beads on size E ivory silk thread.  I framed it using an antique silverplated filigree gatetop purse frame.  While the purse can be made using either a modern or antique frame, I always recommend antique frames for that heirloom look.

This is an advanced knitting pattern and should not be your first beaded knitted bag.  The bag is knit in the round using five 0000 steel double pointed knitting needles.  You must know how to knit, purl, increase and decrease.

Dimensions:  2" wide at top (with gate closed), 3 3/4" wide at bottom, 9 1/4" long (including tassel.)  This pattern will fit any gatetop frame that opens to a 10" or wider circumference.  Uses approx. 260 grams of beads.

A002/Summer Garden

This is an Arhyonel Designs pattern designed by Jacqueline Smith. I designed this bead knitted bag using size 14/15 seed beads on size D black and ivory silk thread.  I framed it using an antique silverplate gatetop purse frame.  While the purse can be made using either a modern or antique frame, I always recommend antique frames for that heirloom look.

This is an advanced knitting pattern. The bag is knit in the round using five 00000 steel double pointed knitting needles.  Pattern includes both full color charts as well as symbol charts.  You must know how to bead knit and decrease.  Instructions for the crossed knit stitch used in bead knitting is included with the pattern.

While the pattern only includes instruction for bead knitting the bag, the charts could also be used to bead crochet, loom, or square stitch the bag.

Dimensions:  2" wide at top (with gate closed), approx. 5" wide at widest point, 10" long (including tassel.)  This pattern will fit any gatetop frame that opens to a 11" or wider circumference.
