Fringed Double Jabot
swag pattern by Barb Pratt. Not only was this the 1st purse that Barb
designed but she bought the antique frame from me - one of the 1st ones I sold. |
Beaded knitted using size 11 beads
and perle cotton. I immediately fell in love with knitting with
beads. "The Two Wide Panels" was designed by Harriet B. Davis,
the Hiawatha Book of Beaded Bags,
8th edition, c1925. Again, I used an antique frame on this
purse. |
"The Butterfly" from
The Hiawatha Book of
Beaded Bags, 10th Edition,
knitted by Jan R. She
knitted the bag in the year 2000 and this was her 4th Harriet B.
Davis bag. She used size 11 3-cut beads on silk thread and lined
the bag in silk. The antique frame came from ebay. |
